Like all Scout groups 1st East Ryde Scouts is run entirely by volunteers and funded through our own fundraising efforts. Each year we raise money to pay for new tents and equipment, building maintenance and also help to subsidise the cost of the activities which our youth members take part in.
Our primary fund-raisers are car boot sales, which we hold three times a year, and Christmas tree sales. We also sell raffle tickets for Mother's day and Father's day.
If you are able to help out with any of our fundraising activities or have suggestions of additional ways we could raise money then please let us know.
We are also this year raising funds to help send our Scouts to Jamboree next January. Please support them by buying raffle tickets or purchasing a camp blanket, or a family portrait.
