Games/Craft Information:
Day/Night – while on parade, discuss a little about the sun (in the centre of the circle) and how the earth moves around the sun, what is a day? What is a year?
Phase of the Moon – go outside each week, spot the moon and draw how much is visible, by the end of the term we should have a good picture of how the moon changes…
Planets, can you name the planets in order. Lay out planets (balls bead – Fred, tennis, football) and see who can throw a bean bag and hit a planet.
Keep your sunny side up – how long can you keep a yellow balloon up in the air? Try an obstacle course?
