Congratulations Aidan

Aidan has worked very hard and his leaders were delighted to see him receive his Grey Wolf Award presented by the Regional Commissioner for Cub Scouts, Maureen Twin. Aidan loves earning badges and achieved every Boomerang award before this top achievement. He also spent a great deal of time preparing his pack resource - a stop motion video of The Jungle Book story which you can watch here in our videos section.

Many of Aidan's leaders past and present, along with his pack, family and friends helped celebrate Aidan's wonderful achievement. 1, 2 3, WOOF!!

Air Activity Day at Camden

Scouting is full of opportunities. Look at these glowing faces. They got to fly up in small planes at Camden air base. What a thrill!

100 years of Cub Scouts

Governer General David Hurley celebrated 100 years of Cub Scouting with many Cubs at Government House in July. Cubs had a great day out in the city and ate cup cakes with the GG.

Sydney Observatory

Pioneer and Explorer pack had fabulous nights at Sydney Observatory. The pouring rain didn't deter the Cubs. They had more questions than could possible be answered on the nights.

Welcoming our newest Citizens

When you can't scrape up enough Scouts the Cubs are always willing to fill the gap. The Cubs and Scouts proudly marched out the flags at a citizenship ceremony with Mayor Laxale in May. Great work everyone.

Greek Gods Camp at Windeyer

Camps are a huge amount of fun. Smiling faces were evident everywhere at our April, 2016 camp. Not even the rain could dampen spirits.IMG 8189 1024x683 Sonas campfire 1024x683

Leaders like a bit of challenge ;-)

An inspiration to every Cub

The Grey Wolf award is the top award a Cub Scout can achieve. It requires commitment, effort and a bunch of fun for the Cub involved. In early 2016 the District Commissioner Woody and leaders Kilkie and Korana had the pleasure of awarding Oscar his Grey Wolf award. Oscar worked, had fun, and showed lots of examples of great badge work.

As part of his Grey Wolf Award Oscar made a wonderful 'Lego' comic book which can be used as a resource by all Cub Scouts. Click here to read it!

We hope Oscar will inspire more Cubs to pursue their Grey Wolf. Congratulations Oscar! It is not every Cub that can achieve this award.
