Games/Craft Information:
Old fashioned garden games:
· Egg and spoon
· Sack race
· Welly throwing – draw chalk lines to make measuring easier!
· Bat the balloon if necessary….
Kings and Queens– variation on NSEW (King, Queen, Prince, Princess, Royal Family in centre)
Oxford and Cambridge– after the historic boat race between the two oldest univercities in England. Two teams – hold each other’s waist (shirt) and crouch down and “walk” to the other end holding on to the person in front of you.
Activities:
Making dolly peg Beefeaters – dolly pegs, black trousers, red coat, pompom hat, googly eyes, shiney buttons.
Icing cupcakes, red/white/blue
Spare:
Royal Curtsy or Bow
Played as red card black card- hold up a deck of playing cards and the leader bows or curtsies if the card is royal. If not go to end of line. First Joey to collect 5 royal cards wins.
