Games/Craft Information:

Touch something….. Leader calls ‘touch something green” etc…

Find a good campsite: Walk joeys around the top part of reserve

· Under a tree?

· On a slope?

· Wet area?

· Covered in rocks, sticks?

· Close to water?

Set up tents: with leader help – set up a couple of dome tents around an area for a campfire site

Snowballs – pin snowman to a tree/fence throw wet cotton balls and see if you can score points….

Campfire safety:

· Bushfire warning levels

· Ring of stones

· Fire safety -extinguisher, blanket and water bucket

· Stop, Drop, Roll…

· First Aid Kit

Gather fuel:

· Gather ONLY fallen wood

· Kindling

· Sticks

· Log

· Watch for bugs and spiders!

Make fire – use red cellophane if too hot for a real fire, if we can have a real fire use back area not grass..!

Sit around the campfire!

Practise skit and song.
