Usual game -  N corner, S corner… etc.

Jump into a water hole - Hold your nose and crouch down

Climb up a rope – pretend to climb up

Fall off a cliff – scream and lie down!

 

Caving Expedition – cavers rope themselves together for safety

Pair Joeys up – one must lead the other blindfold using the rope and instructions to follow an obstacle course.  How many Joeys do we lose!

·        Left, right straight on…. STOP

·        Jump the gorge (rope)

·        Climb over the log (packed tent?)

·        Go around the tree (chair/tree)

·        Under the fallen tree (rope across two chairs)

 

Exploring the caves:

The first time you enter a new cave you don’t touch anything – you explore and remember things you have seen. Take a torch and have a look inside but don’t touch anything!

 

Fossil Hunt

Each Joey must enter the cave in turn and find a piece of bone, they are pieces of a skeleton jig saw.  They must put the jigsaws together. Caring and sharing, bring out any piece and see where it goes.

 

Follow my leader.

Joeys hold the rope – may need to make 2 or 3 Joey strings as they need a bit of space between to go over and under.

Front Joey passes under, between and around the other joeys on his rope tying them all up in knots – NOW they have to untie themselves without letting go!
