Rob the Nest:

Usual rules, 3 or 4 teams, one person from each team to go at a time….

 

Cordial Relay

Each team must fill up their jug with water for the afternoon tea….  Bucket to jug with a hole in the cup!  Food colouring in each jug for cordial

 

Marshmallow Mecanno

Make a construction using marshmallows and cocktail sticks.

 

Fruit Salad:

Give everyone a name – apple, orange, melon, apple, orange melon

Circle of chairs – one less than the number of Joeys.

One Joey is in the middle (without a chair) he/she calls out a fruit – everyone who is that fruit must get up and swap chairs – the Joey in the middle can quickly nab a chair – the person left without a chair is in the middle and calls out another fruit….. etc…

 

Lemon Golf

2 or 3 teams have to get the lemon down the hall, around the chair and back using the newspaper golf stick only.

 

Fruit Skewers

Thread cut up fruit only skewers for later…..

 

 

 

Spare….

 

100’s and 1000’s

Put a rope or draw a chalk line across the hall – 2 teams have to keep as many balls/balloon out of their side and on the oppositions side in 2 minutes – count how many balls on either side after 2 mins – winner has the least balls on their side…

 

Hot Potato

Using bean bags – throw to one another in a circle calling their name first - if you drop it you must salute and say the Joey promise or law before you can join in again.

 

Chopstick relay

Using only chopsticks you must get as many marshmallows (grapes or popcorn) from one end of the room to the bowl – any that drop you have to go back a get another….  Collect any that land on the floor – they can’t be eaten – any that make it to the bowl can be eaten later!!
