Bat the Balloon Relay

Each team has a bat and balloon and they have to keep the balloon in the air while running up and back down the hall to pass to the next in their team.

Christmas craft

Roll out salt dough and cut out Christmas shapes for decorations.  Remember to put a hole in the top before baking! Decorate with holes, indents, squirls ….  Keep each joeys decorations on a separate board on kitchen paper so they don’t stick!  To be painted next week and taken 16th (Christmas Party).

Balloon Volleyball

2 teams either side of a chalk line.  Must get all the balloons on the OTHER side.  Once the time is up the team with the least balloons (or most if you want to change it last minute!) balloon wins.

The Great Dough Disaster

Last summer, my friend __1_____ got a job at the _____2____ Pastry Shop. For the first few weeks, he ____3____ the floors, ____4____ on the shelves, and unloaded ___5____ sacks of flour from the delivery trucks.

Finally, ____6____, the owner, told ___1___ that she would teach him to make bread. “Now, pay attention, ____1____,” she said ___7____. “I'll make the first batch of dough. Then you can make the next batch while I go to ____8_____.”

Poor ____1____! He had a habit of letting his ___9___ wander. When ___6____ left for ____8____, he started to mix the ingredients. “Let me see,” he said. “I think she put in ___10____ packets of yeast.”

A short while later, the dough started ___11___. It kept on ___11____. ___1___ tried to cover it with a ___12____, but the dough wouldn't stop ___11____. It was everywhere! “What can I do?” thought ___1____.

Just then, ___6___ returned from ____8____.   "___1____!" she screamed. “What have you done?”

“It's not my fault,” cried ___1___. “The dough just started ___11____ and wouldn't stop.”

___6___ had to let him go. Now ___1___ has a job making ___13____.

I don't think he'll ever eat bread again, let alone make it.
