Make a name tag of your choice so we all get to know each other!

 

 

On the bank – in the river:

 

Joeys play in the river until you call “Crocodile!” then they must all jump on the river bank.

 

Frog Relay:

 

4 Teams – each gets a different coloured frog and a newspaper.  Teams must flap their frog into the pond – when “time” is called the team with the most frogs in the pond wins.  Flapping may result in another teams frogs being flapped out of the pond so watch out!

Jelly Snakes

 

Can you tie a knot in a jelly snake? You may need to stretch him a little bit first!  Then you can eat it.

 

Human Battleship – Crocodile in the swamp:

 

Leader has a map of the safe route through the swamp – can you find it.  One wrong step and your lunch for the crocodile!

 

Action Story:

 

Joeys on a walk around the reptile park.

 

Joey in a pouch:

 

Joeys close their eyes.  One Joey is picked to curl up on the floor with a blanket over them.  The other Joeys have to guess who the joey is who is missing?

Spare:

 

Koala in a tree– Joeys in pairs make the tree by holding hands.  A Joey/Koala sits in the middle with one spare Joey/Koala without a tree.  Call “Koalas change trees” each Joey must leave their tree and find another tree try not to be the Koala left without a tree!

 

Frogs on a lily pad– musical chairs using newspaper – gradually remove sheets of newspaper so the Joeys have to share a lily pad – bit tricky when you get down to one sheet of newspaper!  But Joey scouts are good at caring and sharing!
