Games and activities
Broom relay.
We need to sweep up the hall. Two teams one broom per team, sweep the Freds down to the end of the hall and back to the next member of the team. First team to sweep up all their Freds wins.
Stacking cups
The cubs have left their drink cups all over the hall, they really should have washed them up! In 2 teams, each person runs down with a half filled cup of water, empties it into the bucket and stacks the cups in a pyramid. Once all the cups are emptied and stacked your team has to knock your pyramid down to win!!
Washing relay
Nushka has washed all the dress up clothes and T towels and they need hanging out to dry. How many items can you peg out in 2 minutes. Team which hangs out the most items wins! You can pinch from the other washing line too until the timer goes! MUST be pegged not draped! Leaders/parents to just hold the ends of the washing lines for ease and height.
Bringing in the washing!
If we have time to kill do reverse relay. Get the washing in and fold it up! First to clear their washing line wins!
Pick up Rubbish!
Cubs have left a whole load of rubbish on the floor, in 4 teams pick up your teams colour of rubbish (there are 10 pieces in each colour) Red, Grey, Brown or white – but wait! It’s a jigsaw, who can complete their puzzle first?
Share a chair
Musical chairs Joey style – when the music stops share a chair with a friend!
Powder pictures.
Spread a thin layer of talc on the floor and draw a picture – pick a theme, faces, trees, animals.. Any mistakes just add more talc! Hoover up at the end.
