Tail Tag
Attach a scarf to each Joey as a tail. The object of the game is to take each others tails off. Last Joey with a tail wins. Discuss rules such as no holding your own tail, once your tail is gone you sit down etc.
Name a pet
Give each joey a pet name (cat, dog, fish…) in a circle leader throws the ball up and calls “cat” the cat has to come and catch it. Then they throw the ball up and call the next pet.

Usual duck, duck goose game in a circle….
Pet Ball
Make your own pet Rock. Joeys are given a Styrofoam ball to decorate it using google eyes. felt, stickers etc. Name your pet and care for it.
Who Am I?
Cards with animal names are given to the Joeys and the other Joeys ask questions to determine what animal they have. For example do you have fur? Are you wild? Can you be kept in my back yard? Etc.

Equipment – nil
Have all the Joey Scouts line up on all fours. Start with “ready set go”. They have to keep moving but the last to reach the finishing line is the winner.
