Coming In Activity:
Colouring in sheet – Bunny and egg (see below).
Game: Hot Cross Buns
Joeys seated in circle. One Joey is chosen to go around the outside of the circle tapping the shoulders of each Joey whilst we recite the words: Hot Cross Buns, Hot Cross Buns, 1 a penny, 2 a penny, HOT CROSS BUNS The last 3 children tapped join the first Joey and go around the circle. Again the last 3 children join on. Continue until 1 Joey is left. That person starts the next game.
Game:Egg and Spoon Obstacle Relay
Joeys in relay formation. The first Joey in each team has a spoon with an egg (ping pong ball) on the spoon. Joeys take turns to walk up, bend down under a rope held waist high, go around chairs set out, and then drink a glass of water before returning to their team. Next one continues.
Game: Egg Blowing
Joeys in pairs. Each Joey has a straw and a ping pong ball between them. The joeys lie on their tummy and blow the egg (ball) across to their friend.
Craft: Face Washer Easter Bunny

- Roll the towel diagonally from either side to the centre.
- Fold the rolled length in half.
- Half way down this folded length place the elastic around it to secure it in place. The rounded section forms the body.
- The two loose ends that are remaining form the ears. Fold the ears section back onto the body forming the head. Secure with elastic. You can leave the ears floppy or make them pointy.
- Decorate the bunny – add eyes and whiskers etc.
