Games/Craft Information:

 

Environment Obstacle Course:

2 teams take turns to race thru obstacle course:

Over the lake on the rope bridge (rope layed over blue coat)

Through the cave (under the table)

Through the forest (weave thru chairs)

Use the stepping stones to go over the swamp (white checkboard)

 

Sorting Recycle Rubbish relay:

Sort objects into coloured boxes ?

 

Lifecycle:Lifecycle Packs

In 3 groups of 2 work out what order of the animals lifecycle.

 

Rope Crocodile Escape:

Put a large rope across the hall, one leader on each end of the rope. Line the children beside the rope and wriggle it along the floor.

Joeys jump the rope and avoid being hit by it.

The rope is the crocodile snapping at their heals.

 

In the pond on the bank:

Draw a circle on the floor. Joeys inside the circle are in the pond, outside the circle

are on the bank.

Leader calls on the bank or in the pond. The joeys move to the appropriate place. Any

Joey “caught out” sits on the edge of the game helping to spot any joeys caught out until

only one Joey is left. Play as many rounds as you like.

 

Build a Nest:

In a container or circle throw pieces of scrunched up newspaper around the hall. Joeys have to get the paper into the Net. Inside the nest are 2 baby birds (Joey’s) throwing the paper back out of the nest. Give everyone a turn of doing both.
