Bat Balloon

Two teams either side of a line, aim is to keep all the balloons on the other side!

 

Noisey relay

Two teams, each person walks down the hall with a bean bag on their head playing a percussion instrument in each hand!!

 

Sound and Repeat

 

Leader sits on a chair with all the Joeys around sitting in a circle.  Clap out a rhythm the Joeys must repeat, then make it harder.

 

Musical ropes/hoops

 

Play music and when the music stops everyone must hold only a rope or hoop.  Take something away each time.  Eventually everyone will be holding one hoop/rope.

 

 

Craft

Castinets:

Glue a button or a washer to each side of a small strip on stiff cardboard.  Fold the cardboard in half.

 

Tambourine

Put two paper plates together front to front make 3 sets of holes around the plate.  Tie the plates together with wire strips.  Attach bells.

 

Shaker makers

Decorate the jars with stickers, fill with beans, chick peas.

 

Repairs -  if necessary make sure your instruments are in working order from the last 2 weeks for our concert.
