Captains Coming

Octopus tag

 

One player is selected to be IT and stands in the middle of the designated play area while the rest of the players line up at one end of the play area. When the person who is IT yells “Go” all other players run from one end of the play area to the other trying not to get tagged by IT. All players that get tagged stay to help the person who is IT for the next round. However, these new helpers must stand in one place and can only move their arms (seaweed) around to tag other players. The game is over when only one person remains untagged. This person is IT for the next game.

 

Jumping jelly fish

 

Take in turns to jump from jelly fish to jelly fish (hoops) vary the distance between the hoops

 

Mouth of the Whale

 

Joeys make a line and take it in turns to run up and through the box (shark jaws) when the music stops anyone caught in the box its out.

Fish, fish, shark– Duck, duck, goose

 

Flappy starfish on a rock

 

Each person must flap their tissue starfish up onto the rock for safety or into the box
