Lacorosse:

Lacrosse was originally a tribal game of the Native American plains Indians.  Our simple version uses two teams, a balloon and a newspaper bats.  Trying to keep the balloon off the ground, bat it to a team member and hopefully score a goal!!  Doesn’t matter if it touches the ground – just pick it up and keep going!

Popcorn Relay:

Popcorn was eaten by Indians over 2000 years ago, it was popped on hot rocks and flew off in every direction making it fun to catch!  Our games needs 2 teams and a plastic cup attached to each foot with an elastic band.  Fill the cups with popcorn and run to the other end of the room empty your cups in the tray and run back before the next in your team can go.  First team to fill their tray wins!

Toe toss:

Was originally played by children with a stick or by adults with a heavy stone!  We will use bean bags.  Not a team game but as we only have 2 or 3 bean bags make 2 or 3 lines.  Put the bean bag on your toes and flick it as far as you can.  Leaders mark how far you flicked.  The players to flick the furthest can have a “flick off”.  Maybe have two lines as the boundary – out of the lines is a no-throw?
