Game:Wombats, Emus, Kangaroos

Joeys in circle named. When Leader calls that name they run around circle and back to their place. Continue.

 

Game: Echidna

Joeys have pinch pegs which they put on their own clothes. On GO they run around and put other pegs on the Joeys. Who has the most, least etc at the end.

 

Craft: Worm Farms

2 or 3 icecream containers / Joey. Joeys hammer large holes into the bottom of the containers. Not one of them which is the base. Place soil, scraps, newspaper, etc in top with composting worms. Place lid on top one.

 

Activity: Worms on Strings

Joeys with hands behind their backs eat a jelly snake which has string tied to it and held by Leaders and parents.

 

Activity: Magic Mud

Magic Mud – Mix together before meeting for each Joey you will need 45ml water, 75gm cornflour, food colouring. Give a zip lock bag to each Joey to take home. It is solid when you squeeze it and runny when you don’t.
