Jigsaw puzzles.
Game: Share a Chair
(Musical chairs version) Joeys move around circle of chairs. As chairs are removed Joeys share the chairs.
Game:Share a Mintie
Joeys in pairs with arm linked across partners back so only one arm each. 1Mintie/pair. How are you going to unwrap it? Who will get it? Joeys work together to unwrap and take turns at eating a Mintie (Have enough for one each).
Game: Pop a Balloon
Joeys each have a balloon with a message inside as to how they can care or share. (Look after your pet, pick up your toys, hang up your bath towel, share your textas, etc) Take turns at popping your balloon and reading message inside.
Craft: Make Chocolate Crackles
Ingredients
4 cups Rice Bubbles
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup icing sugar
250g Copha
3 Tbsp cocoa
Method
- In a large bowl, mix Rice Bubbles, icing sugar, coconut and cocoa.
- Slowly melt the copha in a saucepan over low heat. Allow to cool slightly. Add to Rice Bubbles mixture, stirring until well combined.
Spoon mixture into paper patty cases and refrigerate until firm.
Activity: Billy Carts
Joeys take turns at pulling each other around the play area outside on the billycarts. (If raining alternative activity pass the parcel).
