Games/Craft Information:
Hot Potato Games - Joeys stand in a circle, while music is playing, kids pass an exercise ball around the circle to the person on their left. The player controlling the music stops it randomly. Whoever is holding the exercise ball when the music stops is out sits down. Have the music start again and kids continue playing until everyone sitting down. A different version is to have children randomly toss the exercise ball to another player in the circle while simultaneously saying that person's name. The player holding the ball when the music stops is out.
Plate throwing – who can toss a plate into the purple people eaters mouth?
Making colour purple – zip bags with food colouring in the bottom and shaving cream. Close the bag and squish to make the colour. or
Purple Grapes - use bubble wrap cut out in the shape on a bunch of grapes and purple paint.
Skittle game – hold a plate of skittles above the Joeys, ROYGBV – ROYGB all have a score of 1 but the purple skittle is 10 – the Joey who gets the purple one wins! But they all get to eat the skittles….

Special News Report
Good evening, I'm 1, and this is a special report from NASA. Strange things are occurring during this important mission to the Moon. As most of the world knows, the astronauts on this mission are studying whether or not it is possible to 2 on the Moon.
Today, two of the astronauts, 3 and 4, were outside the space shuttle performing tests. The astronauts reported that an alien spacecraft with 5 lights landed next to the space shuttle. More than 6 aliens left the spacecraft and 7 over to the astronauts.
Astronaut 3 said, “The aliens are about 8 meters tall, and they have 9 skin. We think they 10, but we are not sure.”
The astronauts have been trying to talk to the aliens. “Communication has been difficult,” astronaut 4 told officials at NASA. “The aliens make sounds like 11 when they are talking.”
The aliens stayed on the Moon for about an hour before they got back into their spacecraft and flew away. Before they left, they gave the astronauts a 12. NASA officials think this is a token of friendship and hope we see our alien friends again.
