Sometimes getting away is a bit hard so the solution is to camp right in your Scout Hall. The Cubs had a piratical time in the bush, hall, and our lovely backyard. Better still the leaders got right into the act. How does that knot go??

Check out some of the fun things our Cubs and Scouts have been up to recently - there are new articles to read in the Cubs and Scouts Activities sections.

The Australian Scout Jamboree is being held at Cataract Scout Park, NSW from 2nd to 14th January 2016.  To find out more about our preparations for AJ2016 read the Jamboree section.

In the April school holidays the Scouts went on a 3 night camp to Ingar Campground.  Ingar Campground is in the Blue Mountains, near Wentworth Falls, about 1.5 hours west of Sydney.

The Scouts had a great time, exploring in the bush, swimming in the (rather cold) waterhole, doing some badge work, and hanging out at the campsite.  The Scouts put their cooking skills to good use and cooked up some tasty meals!

Facilities were basic - pit toilets, no showers and no running water.  Lucky the waterhole was there!

The Scouts recently held a Cluedo night.  Leaders and scouts dressed up for the occasion, with leaders dressed as characters from the game, and Scouts dressed as police, detectives and secret agents.  The Scouts worked in teams to solve the murder mystery.  Well done to James C, Luca and Ben who cracked the case!
